Although born in Calgary, Alberta, this cowgirl’s heart has always been in the Okanagan Valley. Belinda is a Journeyman Carpenter who has been a very strong and positive role model for women in the trades since obtaining her ticket.
Belinda has been very fortunate to have been mentored by her boss and friend, Bill Yargeau over the last twenty years. Her ability to manage the book work, scheduling, and work on site along side the team, has proven to be an invaluable asset.
Originally from Kimberly, Christopher’s family moved to Summerland when he was a young lad. He was a labourer for us when he was in high school and took up the trade after he graduated. After working in camp jobs up north he decided to put away his vagabond ways and start his own company. He sub contracts to us on all of our projects and we consider him one of ours. The knowledge and quick wit he brings with him make him an asset to our company.
Trent was born in Saskatoon, moved to Calgary and now calls Summerland home. He started working for us after we renovated his house for him in 2011. He has become an asset to our team by being able to run heavy equipment, doing landscaping, swinging a hammer, to using a shovel. He always has a smile on his face and is ready to help where ever he’s needed.
Born in Humboldt,SK Larry made his way to Kelowna then after a brief stint in Slave Lake he decided to call Summerland home. He has owned Double R Precast, Summerland Excavating Services, and Big Lift Crane Service until recently retiring. Retirement was not for him so he came to work for us. He brings with him the ability to do most anything or give it a good try and a sense of humour that keeps everyone in good spirits on the jobsite. We definatly lucked out with him joining our crew.
Neil has been a teacher in Summerland up until June of 2012 when he retired. He has taught at Giant’s Head School and Summerland Middle School, the students and facility miss him. He was looking for a part time job and we needed another member for our crew. He is a great asset to the company with his head down and work attitude and willingness to give any job a try.
